Financing

Around 80 million euros is needed to implement the Innovation Alliance CNT. 50 percent of this sum will be provided by the Federal German Ministry for Education and Research (BMBF) as part of its program "Materials Innovations for Industry and Society". The other 50 percent will be financed from funds provided by the partners in the alliance. In addition, German companies plan to invest around 200 million euros over the next ten years to establish an efficient CNT industry.
